REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN TRAINING. Includes all tasks from the registered behavior technician (RBT) task list as well as elements of the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts designated as relevant to RBT. Provides video lectures, demonstrations and student responding exercises to facilitate learning. Also includes the opportunity to practice skills specified on the RBT task list.

Instructor Detail
Instructor: Kristin Myers-Kemp
Biography: Kristin Myers-Kemp graduated with a Master's of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology in May of 2005 and received her BCBA the same year. After spending several years in the field Kristin returned to FL Tech to pursue a Ph.D under Dr. David Wilder. Kristin received a Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis in July of 2011. Upon graduation Kristin returned to her previous position as the Director of Curriculum Evaluation and Improvement for ABA Technologies, Inc in conjunction with FL Tech's own ABA Online Program. She has worked for the University of Florida Behavior Analysis Services Program, providing training on Behavior Intervention Plans to caregivers, as well as writing Behavior Intervention Plans and overseeing their implementation. Kristin has also acted as a liaison for dependent children receiving treatment in DCF programs, community providers and other partners to develop, access, and network behavioral resources for children and families. She has been a co-instructor for the ABA Online Program since 2007 although most of her time is dedicated overseeing the curriculum rather than teaching. Her research interests include behavior analysis in education through educational programs, including maximizing effectiveness of education through curriculum design, the effect of effort on behavior and childhood compliance.

If you are a returning FIT student it can take up to one business day (Monday through Friday) to receive access to the course.

If you are a new FIT student it can take up to two business days (Monday through Friday) to receive your course log-in information (TRACKS account) and then up to an additional one business day (Monday through Friday) to receive access to the course.

Group or Company Registrations

Requires 10 or more registrations to unlock a special discounted rate and other benefits.

Company specific documents, instructions and dates can be incorporated within the course and assuming all proper releases are provided (e.g. FERPA form), the company administrator or supervisor can be given direct access to the course and grade book to track employees in real time.

Refund Policy

Please note the BACB does update qualification requirements (www.bacb.com) on an ongoing basis. It is the student's responsibility to check with the BACB regarding accepted degrees as well as any other qualification requirements prior to registering.

Any registrant who has paid for a course or workshop and withdraws within 7 days of accessing the course they will receive a refund of any registration fees paid, minus a cancellation fee. To qualify for a refund, the student can have completed no more than the first two modules of the course and the drop request must be submitted within 30 days of the original registration.

Cancellation fees, unless otherwise specified:

• Courses less than $100.00, the cancellation fee is $25.00.

• Courses greater than $100.00, but less than $300.00, the cancellation fee is $50.00.
